ZAP were engaged to design a bespoke lower ground floor two bed apartment within the beautifully leafy surrounds of Primrose Hill near Regent’s Park. The client’s brief was to create something that would appeal to a contemporary young professional with an added ‘cool’ factor. This blue-plaque building held some reserve from modern architectural interventions. The incorporation of crittal doors and windows intertwined with marble and oak flooring creating a palette of cool youthfulness. The hierarchal journey through the sequence of spaces was paramount in identifying economical use of the building footprint. ZAP engaged with the client’s desire for ‘coolness’ and the property attracted a huge amount of celebrity interest from the ‘Primrose Hill’ set.
